In memory of Thomas Walsh

Silence whispered in my ear this morning

“Don’t plant so fast that you loose the seed,

For there are skies to watch

And quiet songs to heed”.

Thomas Walsh knew the melody

Of birdsong by water,

Calm reflections humming the notes

Of Nature's graceful daughter.

Silence reveals more each time

In Nature's breath and soaring wings,

I had never known the blossoms of the sea

Bubbly seaweed dries off in the sun as it sings.

A gentle breeze passes by, touches my soul,

Soothes my slowing mind,

From the perch of Thomas Walsh

What sweet nature might I find?
